BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's basketball team defeated Maritime, 62-45, on Saturday at Campbell Sports Center. With the win, the Gryphons improve to 11-12 overall and 7-7 in conference play, securing the season sweep over the Privateers.

Omar Jamaleddine led all scorers with 23 points. The sophomore also grabbed 15 rebounds while dishing out four assists.
Enike Anyia finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while
Chris Torres added 14 points, going 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
RECAP
Both teams struggled to knock down a shot in the opening frame, each shooting under 37-percent for the period.
Maritime held an early 13-9 edge with 10:44 to play. The Gryphons got it going offensively, while the Privateers struggled to find offense, as SLC outscored Maritime 21-2 the rest of the way for a 31-15 advantage at intermission. Maritime was held without a field goal for the final 8:28 of the stanza.
In the second half, Maritime chipped away at the deficit, getting within six (43-37) with 9:24 remaining in the contest. SLC pulled away for good, outscoring the Privateers 19-6 over the final minutes to earn the home victory.
SLC, now winners of three in a row, have defeated Maritime in three of the last four outings.
