BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - For the first time since 2015, the Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis team secured a position in the postseason, defeating Mount Saint Mary 8-1 in the season finale on Friday night.
The Gryphons finished the year with an 8-3 record, a program-best since 2009 when SLC went 10-1.
Simi Rao and
Isabella Hardman kicked off the evening with a 8-2 #1 doubles win.
Sasha Conner and
Sophie Holmes won #2 doubles 8-4.
The Gryphons swept the singles matches. Rao earned a #1 singles win 6-4, 6-1.
Isabella Hardman won #2 singles 6-2, 6-1.
Sasha Conner went three games in #3 singles, winning the match 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.
Bella Biane,
Sophie Holmes, and
Ghiyan Dornelly ended the night with consecutive victories.
