FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball team went up against Farmingdale State on Wednesday night. The Gryphons were defeated by the Rams 3-0 in straight sets.
FSC jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first set. SLC cut the deficit to one later on, making in 9-8 in favor of the Rams.

Georgi Massey, and
Kaille Ferguson all had kills in the set. FSC won 25-15.
Set two was the closest set of the evening. SLC held a 10-8 advantage near the midway point of the set.
Davis Mathis and
Georgi Massey recorded two kills during a 3-0 run that put the Gryphons up 14-10. FSC trailed 15-13 then put together a 5-0 run, going up 18-15. Down 22-19, the SLC took advantage of some Rams' errors, going on a 3-0 run and knotting the set. The Rams closed out the set with three unanswered points, taking it 25-22.
FSC used a 5-0 run and 6-0 run to put the Gryphons away in the final set, winning it 25-15.
