Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Three Different Players Score Twice in 11-1 Victory Over Yeshiva

NEW YORK - Three different members of the Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team score twice as the Gryphons took down the Yeshiva University Maccabees 11-1 on Friday afternoon. 

Lainie Cadieux kicked off the scoring with a goal in the seventh minute. Three more goals (Samantha Garcia '12, Alexis Valdes '14, Lily Matalus '16) in a four-minute span gave SLC a four-point edge nearly 16 minutes into the contest. 

Cora Colvin added the fifth and Valdes recorded another, making it 6-0 in favor of the Gryphons heading into the break. 

Samantha Lungren increased the lead to seven 20 minutes into the second half. Colvin and Matalus each got their second goal before the 70-minute mark. Gracie Jordan notched the assist on the Matalus goal. 

Bridgette Lee scored the first collegiate goal of her career, putting the Grypohons up 10-0 and Lungren tallied the final goal of the day for SLC.
