Georgi Massey led all players in kills as the Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball team battled Pratt Institute on Saturday afternoon. SLC dropped the match to the Cannoneers 3-1.

How It Happened
The Gryphons trailed 7-2 in the first set then ripped off five unanswered points to even the score. Pratt maintained a slight edge from there, until a Massey service ace knotted the set at 18. Three straight points from the Cannoneers created a wide enough margin for them to carry their advantage until the final point. Pratt won 25-20.
Pratt generated another early lead in set two, going up 10-4. The deficit grew to eight at one point in the set with Pratt leading 15-7. An 11-3 run from the Gryphons tied the set at 18. From there, it was all SLC. Seven consecutive Sarah Lawrence points ended the set at 25-18.
The third set was the most evenly matched set of the afternoon. The Gryphons faced a 20-13 deficit and clawed their way back, eventually deadlocking the set at 23. Pratt recorded the final two points of the set, winning it 25-23.
The Cannoneers took the fourth and final set 25-12.
