MAHWAH, N.J. -
Jelani Jackson scored a career-high 19 points for the Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball team as the Gryphons took on Ramapo College on Wednesday night. SLC fell to the Roadrunners 80-60.

- Jackson's 19 points came on 50 percent shooting, hitting five shots from beyond the arc.
- Lucas Murray put up 11 points and three rebounds.
- Chris Torres led the team in assists with four.
- Justin Bailey tallied a team-high five rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Ramapo began the contest with a 15-3 run. A 21-13 outburst from the Gryphons brought SLC to within four points. Jackson was responsible for 13 points during the run. The Roadrunners grew their lead back to double-digits with just under one minute remaining in the first half.
Chris Torres knocked down a three at the 19-second mark. The Gryphons went into the break down by eight.
A 5-0 spurt from the Gryphons to start the second half cut the gap to three less than a minute into action. That was the smallest margin for the rest of the game. The Gryphons kept the deficit between five and 11 points for the majority of the half. A 9-0 Roadrunner run beginning at the 5:53 mark and ending at the 2:49 mark grew the lead to 21. RCNJ carried its edge until the final whistle.
