BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Four players finished in double figures for the Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team, propelling the Gryphons to an 80-63 homecoming win over the Pratt Institute Cannoneers on Saturday night.
The win marked the Gryphons' third of the season, tying a program record for most wins in a season. The final score was the largest margin of victory for Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball since its 89-29 win against Vaughn on January 12, 2019.
NUMBERS
	- Demitra Loukopoulos finished with a career-high 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
 
	- Kendall Haymore went for 18 points and seven rebounds. The sophomore was perfect from the free throw line, going 8-8.
 
	- Kumi Tamura dropped 14 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists.
 
	- Jordyn Medina had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
 
	- Madelisia Valoaga was perfect from the field, going 3-3 and supplying six points off the bench in 14 minutes.
 
	- Camryn Davis had five points and dished out five dimes.
 
	- SLC outrebounded Pratt 41-37.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
SLC began the game with a 21-6 run, shooting 61.5 percent from the field through the first seven minutes. Haymore, 
Kimiko Katzaroff, Davis tallied the final buckets of the quarter for Sarah Lawrence and Gryphons headed into the second quarter ahead by 18 points.
The margin grew to a game-high 27 just after the midway point of the second quarter thanks to a fast break three-pointer from 
Camryn Davis. SLC maintained its comfortable advantage until halftime, strolling into the break with a 49-25 lead.
Pratt cut the deficit to 17 in the third quarter, but SLC kept its foot on the gas, outscoring the Cannoneers 8-6 throughout the final three minutes and 40 seconds of the third quarter. The Gryphons were up by 19 leading into the last quarter.
Sarah Lawrence held its edge for the remainder of regulation. Pratt brought it to within 15 three different times in the fourth quarter, but that was the narrowest margin of the rest of the evening. SLC cruised on to 17-point victory.
