Mia Rector tallied 16 total assists as the Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball team faced off against the Connecticut College Camels on Friday night. SLC dropped the match 3-0 in straight sets.

How It Happened
Conn. College jumped out to an early 4-2 advantage in the first set. A 5-0 spurt from SLC put the Gryphons up by three. The Gryphons were up 14-9 in the first set, thanks to some strong play from
Gabrielle Hegedus. Still maintaining the edge,
Davis Mathis slammed home a kill, putting SLC up 17-14. The Camels strung together six straight points, taking a 20-17 edge. A 5-3 finish in favor of Conn. College ended the first set.
Connecticut College recorded five unanswered points to start the second set. A service error, then back-to-back points from Ferguson and Kawecki-Munio cut the deficit to two. The Camels did not let up, holding its lead for the remainder of the set.
An 8-2 Camels' outburst in the beginning of the third set proved to be an insurmountable margin to overcome for the Gryphons. Conn. College ended up taking the set 25-11.
