Women's Soccer Cruises to Third Straight Victory

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team won its third straight game, taking down the Brooklyn College Bulldogs 3-0 on Monday night. Three different Gryphons found the back of the net.

First Half
The Gryphons scored two goals in the span of one minute and 25 seconds. Valdes found Garcia, opening up the scoring at the 14:28 mark. The first-year from Seymour, Conn. then assisted on Rech's goal at the 15:53 mark. The Gryphons compiled three more shots before halftime, but the margin stayed at two heading into the break. The SLC defense allowed zero shots in the first 45 minutes.

Sarah Lawrence had plenty of opportunities in the second half before finally breaking through for the third goal of the evening. Samantha Lungren made it 3-0 with a little less than 25 minutes left in regulation, cementing the final score.
