BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis team picked up its third win of the season, defeating Albertus Magnus 8-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Gryphons now own the most wins in the Skyline Conference.
SLC swept the doubles matches.
Sophie Holmes and
Simi Rao took #1 doubles 8-5. The duo of
Isabella Hardman and
Samantha Nochimson grabbed an 8-5 victory in #2 doubles.
Chloe Cohen and
Bella Biane completed the sweep with an 8-1 win in #3 doubles.
Hardman battled in #1 singles, earning a 6-1, 3-6, 11-9 triumph over her opponent.
Sophie Holmes' second win of the day came in #3 singles. The first-year did not surrender a point, winning 6-0, 6-0.
Samantha Nochimson won #4 singles 6-4, 6-2.
Sasha Conner and
Ghiyan Dornelly rounded out the day with wins in #5 and #6 singles, respectively.
