BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball won its second straight match, taking down the Old Westbury Panthers on Thursday night. The Gryphons now sit at 3-0 in the Skyline Conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SLC jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first set. The Panthers got two back, but that is the closest Old Westbury came to knotting the score. Holding a 12-10 advantage, the Gryphons ripped off six unanswered points, starting with a kill from Massey and ending with an attack error. Sarah Lawrence grew its margin to 10, winning the set 25-15.
Set two started similarly. The Gryphons went up 3-0 early. Massey had back-to-back aces midway through the set, expanding the SLC lead to 15-6. Set two also ended 25-15 in favor of the Gryphons.
Sarah Lawrence finished the job in set three. Ferguson had four kills in the final set. SLC won 25-11.

The Gryphons host a trimatch on Saturday, October 2, welcoming Maritime and Baruch to Campbell Sports Center. SLC plays Maritime at 11:00 a.m. then battles Baruch at 3:00 p.m.
