YONKERS, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer team was outshot 22-4 as the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy won 4-0 at Fleming Field.
SLC (5-7-2, 1-5-2 Skyline) could not get any kind of offensive momentum going its way no matter what the Gryphons tried to do.
Despite the shot difference, SLC was still in the contest until late in the second half when the Mariners pushed across three insurance goals inside the final 18 minutes of the contest.
USMMA (5-4-5, 2-1-4 Skyline) has now earned 10 points in the Skyline Conference standings but remains just outside of the necessary top six in order to qualify for the conference tournament.
