YONKERS, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team couldn't muster any offense as the St. Joseph's University – Brooklyn Bears took down the Gryphons 5-0 at Fleming Field.
Leon Bronshvag led the Gryphons (5-6-2, 1-4-2 Skyline Conference) with four shots including two on goal, but the Bears' goalie Leonel Bravo stopped all six shots SLC had on goal throughout the match.
The Bears went into the halftime break leading 2-0 and put the game out of reach with three second half tallies.
Victor Naci led the Bears (3-5-3, 1-3-2 Skyline) to their first conference win of the season with a pair of goals and an assist.
St. Joseph's Brooklyn notched 23 shots to SLC's 14 with
Kian Silva collecting four saves despite giving up the five goals.
