NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team went up against top-seeded Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday afternoon. The Gryphons dropped the meeting with the Knights 79-44.

MSMC ripped off 10 unanswered points to start the game. The Knights closed out the quarter with an 18-13 spurt, going into the second up by 15.

The lead swelled to 26 shortly after the midway point of the second quarter.  It was stretched to 41 by the end of the third quarter. MSMC held the double digit margin until the final whistle.
