ANNADALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball team competed in a tri-match featuring Nazareth College and Bard College hosted by Bard on Saturday afternoon. SLC dropped both matches 3-0 and 3-1, respectively.
MATCH 1
Nazareth took the first set 25-9. The second set was 25-8 in favor of the Golden Flyers. Nazareth completed the sweep with a 25-10 win in the third set.
Nate Davis finished with nine kills.
MATCH 2
SLC trailed 13-11 in the first set. Bard ended the set on a 12-5 run, taking it 25-16. The Raptors built a 17-5 lead in set two, winning it 25-14. Down 13-11, Sarah Lawrence scored four unanswered points in the third set, going up 15-13. The set was then tied at 16 and the Gryphons put together a 3-0 spurt.
Lance De Leoz recorded the set-winning kill.
Lukas Gates was on the assist. SLC won 25-23. Bard won the final set 25-12.
