JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball team faced off against the Skyline Conference reigning champions, New Jersey City University, on Tuesday night. The Gryphons fell to the Gothic Knights 3-0.
SET 1
With the first set tied at six, NJCU ripped off a 12-3 run, going up 18-9. The Gothic Knights outscored SLC 7-4 the rest of the way, winning the set 25-13.
SET 2
The Gothic Knights began the second set with a 13-3 run. NJCU went on to win the set 25-11.
SET 3
The third set was even at eight. NJCU went on a 15-3 run, taking a 23-11 lead. SLC then outscored the Gothic Knights 5-1 over the next six rallies. NJCU won 25-16.
Nate Davis finished with 16 kills.
