MAHWAH, N.J. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team opened its 2022 season on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Ramapo College to take on the Roadrunners. SLC fell to the host school 3-0.
The Roadrunners struck early, finding the back of the net just 25 seconds into the match. Ramapo added an insurance goal in the 26th minute.
SLC fired off five shots throughout the rest of the first half but could not beat the opposing keeper. Ramapo added a third goal in the second half.
Cora Colvin led the way in shots for the Gryphons, recording seven.
Daniela Perez and
Lainie Cadieux played the entire 90 minutes.
Sarah Lawrence returns to action on Thursday, September 8, hosting the Lehman College Lightning at 7:00 p.m.
