BRONX, N.Y. –
Cora Colvin recorded a hat-trick for the Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team, helping the Gryphons secure a 7-0 win over Lehman College on Thursday night.
The Gryphons struck early, finding the back of the net just 15 seconds into regulation. Colvin was set up by
Viktoria Balbin. Balbin then added to the scoring with a goal of her own a minute later.
Grace Carter was credited with the assist.
Hannah Chaffin and
Cat Faville netted the final two goals of the first half. SLC entered the break with a four-goal advantage.
Emma Floyd made it 5-0 in the 56th minute Balbin earned her third assist of the night on the goal. Colvin scored two more times over the next 15 minutes, cementing the final score.
