TEANECK, N.J. - The Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer team began conference play on Sunday night, going up against Yeshiva University. The Gryphons fell to the Maccabees 3-0.
Yeshiva found the back of the net in the third minute of action.
Aidan Roney had a scoring chance saved by the Maccabees keeper near the nine-minute mark.
Kaeden Potts fired off a shot right before the intermission that was stopped. SLC went into the half down by one.
SLC scrummed together seven shots in the second half, but could not find the scoring column. Yeshiva netted two goals in the final 45 minutes of play.
