BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball team improved its record to 4-0, taking down Yeshiva in straight sets on Tuesday night. The win marked the first Skyline Conference victory of the season for the Gryphons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gryphons led 8-3 early in the first set. Yeshiva narrowed the gap to one point with a 4-0 run. SLC then outscored the Maccabees 13-1, taking a commanding 21-8 advantage. SLC won the set 25-11.
Holding a slight 12-10 lead in the second set, Sarah Lawrence used an 8-0 run to create significant breathing room. The Gryphons went on to win the set 25-17.
SLC had a 6-5 edge in the third set before firing off six unanswered points. Yeshiva shrunk the deficit to five points, but that was the smallest margin of the final set. The Gryphons won 25-14.
