KANSAS CITY, MO. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has released their 2022-23 Team Academic Excellence Awards along with their NABC Honors court, which honors and commends men's collegiate basketball programs and student-athletes for their success in the classroom. 

The Sarah Lawrence men's basketball team was one of three Skyline schools and one of over 300 institutions nationwide to earn the award, while all four eligible Gryphons were named to the organization's honors court. In order to be eligible for a spot on the NABC Honors Court, student-athletes must be in at least their junior year and must have obtained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 for the 2022-23 school year. Class of 2024 forward Lucas Murray and Class of 2023 graduates Reuben Egan, David Gelb and Chris Torres were all awarded with spots on the honors court after excelling academically this past year.
