PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team was defeated 4-0 by St. Joseph's Long Island on Saturday afternoon at Danzi Stadium. The Gryphons were unable to get much going offensively as the Golden Eagles remained undefeated in Skyline play with the win.

How it Happened
The match began with St. Joseph's seizing control early, scoring just three minutes in when Saravia finished a pass from Pulisic to make it 1-0. The Gryphons responded with a couple of attempts but were unable to find the target. In the 36th minute, Pensavalle doubled the lead for the Golden Eagles after receiving a pass from Devin Seara, sending the game into halftime at 2-0. The second half followed a similar pattern, with St. Joseph's controlling possession and adding to their lead. Pensavalle scored his second goal in the 57th minute, assisted by Saravia. Sarah Lawrence continued to push forward but struggled to create clear chances against a well-organized defense. In the 87th minute, Sean Gordon added a fourth goal for the Golden Eagles, rounding out the 4-0 victory. Sarah Lawrence managed 10 shots, three of which were on target, but St. Joseph's goalkeeper Giuseppe Vitale stood firm, earning a clean sheet.
