BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence College swim team had a strong performance at the Gryphons Sprint Carnival on October 19, 2024.

Patrick Rau started off the meet for SLC as the junior took third in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:05.49. Next, in the 50 Yard Backstroke, Moss McHold-Burke took second place with a time of 29.79, a great start to an SLC swimming career. Jonas Ellwanger took fifth place in the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 37.95 as the third men's swimming member with a top-five finish in the meet. In the 50 Yard Freestyle, McHold-Burke claimed third place with a time of 25.50, while Ellwanger finished seventh in 28.74. Rau returned to the pool and took third place in the 100 Yard Freestyle with 55.22 while McHold-Burke finished fourth in 58.12. Rau then wrapped up the day for the men's team as the junior finished third in the 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 27.69.
