AMHERST, MASS. – The Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 defeat at the hands of #2 ranked Amherst College on Sunday afternoon at Hitchcock Field. Amherst's offense proved too much for the Gryphons, as the hosts scored three goals in each half to secure the victory.

- Sarah Lawrence goalkeeper Bella Vaca made nine saves, and Arwen Browne added five more, as the duo faced 30 shots from Amherst's relentless attack.
- Cora Colvin registered the team's only shot on goal early in the first half, but was denied by Amherst goalkeeper Mika Fisher.
How it Happened
Amherst started the game strongly, dominating possession and creating several chances early on. In the 22nd minute, Jessica Lomo opened the scoring for the Mammoths, assisted by Fiona Bernet. Just moments later, Coletti added a second goal before striking again in the 24th minute to make it 3-0 by the halftime break. The second half saw much of the same, with Amherst continuing to press forward. Lomo scored her second of the day in the 68th minute, followed by goals from Millie McLeod and Novidzro in quick succession to close out the match. Sarah Lawrence, despite battling hard, struggled to create scoring chances against a well-organized Amherst defense.
