How it Happened
Maritime took the lead in the 24th minute when Toma pounced on a rebound, finishing from close range after his initial shot was saved by Gryphons goalkeeper
Jonah Zalis. The Gryphons struggled to create clear-cut chances in the first half, but regrouped after the break with a more aggressive approach. The momentum shifted quickly, though, as Maritime pressed forward in search of an equalizer. In the 73rd minute, Arriola's solo effort tied the match after a run down the left flank, with his shot deflecting off a Gryphons defender and into the net.
