YONKERS, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team dominated Purchase College with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday night at Fleming Field. The Gryphons were relentless on the attack, scoring five first-half goals and continuing their momentum into the second half. Chloe Barker led the charge with a hat-trick as Sarah Lawrence cruised to their eighth win of the season.

How it Happened
The Gryphons wasted no time asserting control over the game, with Barker scoring the opening goal in just the 3rd minute, assisted by Viktoria Balbin. Barker added a second goal in the 16th minute before Hannah Chaffin joined the scoresheet three minutes later. Alexis Valdes extended the lead to 4-0 with a make on a corner kick opportunity in the 35th minute, and Maria Cortina Fernandez capped off the first half with a goal just before the break, assisted by Valdes.

Sarah Lawrence continued their dominance after halftime. Chaffin scored her second goal of the match in the 48th minute, and Barker completed her hat-trick with a strike in the 55th minute. Atherley then put the game out of reach with two goals in the 71st and 76th minutes, both assisted by Sturgill, to complete the 9-0 rout.
