LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence equestrian team wrapped up their fall 2024 schedule with another impressive showing at the Crosswinds Equestrian Center, totaling eight ribbons on the day. A blue ribbon by Nyah Raposo led the way as five different Gryphons earned top-five finishes.

The aforementioned Raposo brought home a blue ribbon for the Gryphons, doing so in the Introductory Flat. Teammates Victoria Bellonci and Layne Barr both also participated in the Introductory flat, with each rider earning a fourth-place finish for their efforts. Maeve Lamson continued a strong season with a pair of fifth-place finishes, showing in the intermediate flat and limit fences. Summer Stammley earned another top-five finish for the Gryphons in the novice flat while Leena Mangaldas took home sixth place in the pre novice flat. James Chipperfield also ribboned for the Gryphons, with a sixth-place finish in the limit flat giving the team a total of eight ribbons on the day.

Up Next

The Gryphons will return to showing in the spring, as they look to continue their momentum from this fall. The team also had a pair riders qualify for regionals this fall, Sophie Gaynes and Leena Mangaldas.
