NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's basketball team defeated Mount Saint Mary College 87-71 on Saturday afternoon, wrapping up their 2024 schedule with their first conference game, and win, of the season.

How it Happened
The Gryphons set the tone early, shooting 48.4% in the first half and connecting on seven three-pointers. They built a five-point lead at halftime, 45-40, powered by Eamon Kelly's consistent scoring and Braden Burman's three-point sharpshooting. Kelly ended the game with 18 points, while Burman added 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
In the second half, Sarah Lawrence turned up the pressure, shooting a blistering 60.9% from the field and holding the Knights to just 32.3%. The Gryphons took full control, extending their lead to as many as 16 points. Their dominance on the boards (46 rebounds to Mount Saint Mary's 28) and their ability to capitalize on turnovers proved decisive.
