Gryphons Host Undefeated Rams to Bronxville for Skyline-Opener

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's tennis team fell to the undefeated Farmingdale State Rams on Saturday afternoon in Bronxville. The Rams defeated the Gryphons 9-0 for their seventh win of the season.

The duo of Simon Kopecky and Devin Derian teamed up, ultimately falling to FSC's Ryan Hendel and Vansh Aggarwal 8-1. Nikita Knecht and Samu Gabor lined up at second doubles and Peter Fathi and Vance Johnson did the same at third doubles, meeting the same fates as they fell 8-0 to their opponents from the undefeated Rams. In singles, Kopecky fell in the first flight while Derian fell 6-0, 6-0 in the second flight. Leon Bronshvag played a tight match in the third flight, falling 6-4, 6-2 to FSC's Matthew Olkhovetsky. Gabor, Knecht and Noah Morley all fell in their respective singles flights, with five of the six sets seeing SLC fall 6-0.
