Notable Performers
How it Happened

The first half saw few opportunities for either side, with NYU attempting four shots to Sarah Lawrence's one. Balbin managed to put a shot on goal in the 11th minute, but NYU goalkeeper Riley Felsher made the save. Despite NYU controlling more of the possession throughout the half, the Gryphons' defense held firm, and the teams went into halftime scoreless.

In the second half, the Violets intensified their attacking efforts, firing 11 shots, but were continually thwarted by Gryphons' goalkeeper Bella Vaca, who recorded four saves on the day. The breakthrough finally came in the 84th minute, when NYU's Rachel Kim scored an unassisted goal, her second of the season. This decisive moment handed NYU the lead and ultimately secured their 1-0 victory.\
