PATCHOGUE, N.Y - The Sarah Lawrence swim teams put up an array of strong individual performances against St. Joseph's Long Island on Saturday, with the women's team taking down the Golden Eagles 101-44 and the men's team falling 27-90.

How it Happened

The meet began with a victory in the Women's 200-Yard Medley Relay, where Ella Hernan, Eva Guarda-Vazquez, Amelie Burg, and Josie Laur secured first place with a time of 2:09.18. In the Women's 200-Yard Freestyle, Ella Hernan continued her success, finishing first with a time of 2:15.33, while Jocelyn Engel placed third at 2:52.93. Patrick Rau dominated the Men's 200-Yard Freestyle, claiming first with a time of 2:01.33.

n the Women's 50-Yard Freestyle, Josie Laur finished first at 28.82, closely followed by Eva Guarda-Vazquez in second place with 29.17. Mckenzie Shaffer-Kay won the Women's 200-Yard IM with a time of 2:56.86, and Sonjia Armitage secured second place at 3:10.75. Patrick Rau added another win in the Men's 100-Yard Butterfly, clocking in at 1:01.44. Amelie Burg topped the podium in the Women's 100-Yard Freestyle at 1:02.75, with Josie Laur placing second at 1:04.25. In the Women's 100-Yard Backstroke, Ella Hernan finished second with a time of 1:08.00, and Sonjia Armitage followed in third at 1:25.08.

Jocelyn Engel claimed first place in the Women's 500-Yard Freestyle with a time of 7:39.00, while Patrick Rau triumphed in the Men's 500-Yard Freestyle, finishing in 5:51.52. Eva Guarda-Vazquez added another win for the Gryphons in the Women's 100-Yard Breaststroke, clocking 1:23.97. The Women's 200-Yard Freestyle Relay team of Amelie Burg, Mckenzie Shaffer-Kay, Sonjia Armitage, and Jocelyn Engel closed the meet with a first-place finish in 2:14.81.
