YONKERS, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team got two second-half scores from senior
Hannah Chaffin as they cruised to a 5-0 victory over the Old Westbury Panthers on Wednesday night. The game marked the final regular-season home game of 2025 for the Gryphons, who will wrap up the regular season with a pair of road contests against Merchant Marine and Yeshiva.

How it Happened
The Gryphons controlled the ball throughout the majority of the first twenty minutes of the game, but were unable to put one past the Old Westbury keeper. It wasn't until the 21st minute that Beaver took a pass from Moor and opened the night's scoring, giving the Gryphons a one goal advantage. Only minutes later Beaver would find teammate
Chloe Barker in front of the net for the team's second score of the day, doubling the lead in a matter of minutes. The hosts would carry a two-goal advantage into the intermission while controlling the ball for 68% of the first half.
It would be Chaffin to get the scoring started in the second half, taking a pass off a free kick by Moor and converting a header in front of the goal to put the Gryphons up 3-0. Minutes later, the senior would strike again, this time beating a pair of defenders to put the team up by four scores. The scoring would quiet down until
Ava Warren emerged from a swarm in front of the Old Westbury goal in the 82nd minute with her third goal of the season.
