BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's and women's swim teams collectively earned a trio of victories on Saturday at the Campbell Sports Center. The women's team earned dominate wins over both Maritime and Bard while the men's team used strong performances from
Andrew Kim,
Patrick Rau and
Moss McHold-Burke to take down Bard.
On the women's side, Keilani Talma led the way with victories in the 50-yard freestyle (26.55) and a runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly (1:02.91). Sophie Grimes also earned a win in the 100 backstroke (1:03.60) and took second in the 50 free (26.63), while Ella Hernan placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:58.50). Additional top performances came from Kirsten Eads, Amelie Burg, and Cordelia Bay, each posting strong swims in their respective events. The Gryphons also saw steady contributions from Ava Greengrass, Julia Maecker, Aubrey Rosser, Alessandra Abemayor, Olivia Huie, Juliet Delap, Krista Burgess, and Jocelyn Engel across both individual and relay events.
For the men, Kim claimed the top spot in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.25, while Rau earned three third-place finishes in the 200 IM (2:22.71), 500 free (5:47.57), and 100 breaststroke (1:14.89). McHold-Burke added a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:06.34) and fifth in the 50 free (25.25) to round out the men's highlights.
