The visitors won in three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-21. The team will return to action on Saturday as they celebrate Senior Day at the Campbell Sports Center. How it Happened

After an early SJLI lead that put the Gryphons in a five-point defecit, Sarah Lawrence battled back as Nikolet Vataj earned an ace and Kazos delivered a kill, assisted by Costa. Costa's serving run, which included an ace and a forced error, brought SLC within three at 16-19, forcing a St. Joseph's timeout. However, Sarah Montefusco's serving swung momentum as the visitors tallied multiple aces and kills to push the score to 23-16. After a late Olivia Richard kill and another Kazos finish brought the Gryphons to 18, St. Joseph's closed the set with a Nina Vanderhoof kill off the block to take it 25–18

The Gryphons stumbled early as St. Joseph's opened on an 8-1 run. Kazos broke the streak with a kill off a set from Costa, followed by back-to-back attack errors from St. Joseph's that narrowed the gap. The visitors maintained a steady lead and eventually found themselves up 22-13 and threatening to take the second set in dominant fashion. The Gryphons took four straight points thanks to a pair of kills by Kazos and a conversion by Carolyn Kelly, but Vanderhoof would end the run before ending the set a few rallies later as the visitors escaped 25-19. SLC benefitted from a pair of SJLI errors early in the third set, but a 7-1 run in response by the visitors put them ahead 8-4. Kills from Brynn Beck, Milly Guemple and Kazos late in the set gave the Gryphons some life, but the lead would be too large and the hosts would not be able to even up the set. Eve Iceton and Richard combined for a late block, as did Kazos and Kelly, but the Gryphons would end with 21 points as the visitors completed the three-set sweep.
