How it Happened
The Gryphons controlled much of the opening half and broke through in the 23rd minute when Bolden scored his first career goal, finishing off a setup from Connor Saul to put SLC ahead 1–0. The Bears answered quickly, equalizing in the 30th minute through Alexander Kudrick, but the Gryphons responded just minutes later. In the 33rd minute, Jordi-Donnelly netted his first goal of the season off an assist from Dylan Peavoy, restoring SLC's lead at 2–1 heading into halftime.
The Gryphons continued to dictate play in the second half, creating a string of scoring chances as Miles, Leon Bronshvag, and Aidan Roney each forced saves from St. Joseph's goalkeeper Edwin Sacramento. SLC's defense remained steady, with Zalis making key stops to preserve the advantage. Miles added a last-minute score for insurance as the Gryphons earned their first conference victory of the season.
