YONKERS, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team fell to the reigning Skyline men's soccer champions on Tuesday night. The Manhattanville Valiants scored five goals at Fleming Field, shutting out the Gryphons en route to another Skyline victory.

How it Happened
The Valiants struck twice in quick succession during the opening stages, with Roberto Velasquez-Osorio scoring in the 17th minute and Alec Pineda doubling the lead just two minutes later. Despite the early deficit, the Gryphons settled in as Jonah Zalis made several key saves to keep the score within reach, including stops on efforts from Pineda and Kenneth Suqui. Leon Bronshvag produced SLC's best first-half chances, forcing two saves before halftime as Manhattanville carried a 2–0 advantage into the break.
The second half saw Sarah Lawrence continue to battle but struggle to contain Manhattanville's attack. David Trujillo extended the Valiants' lead to 3–0 in the 61st minute, followed by Griffin Van Cott's strike in the 79th. Nico Del Vescovo capped the scoring in the 88th minute, bringing the final to 5–0. The Gryphons worked hard to generate counterattacks, with efforts from Asefa Thome and Morris Monaco Collins testing the defense, but goalkeeper AJ Lucas turned away all attempts to secure the clean sheet.
