The Gryphons got going early, as Kim found Burman for a game-opening score before Kelly poured in five straight points to take a 7-2 lead. The hosts surged back to take a 12-11 advantage later on, before Matonti got going with a trio of triples to fuel a 13-0 run by the visitors. The hosts closed the gap to one possession, but a layup by Kim with a minute left re-extended the lead. A single free throw closed the gap to four points by the intermission as the Gryphons maintained a slight advantage.
The second half started with four straight points by Kim, before a Kelly three-pointer a few minutes later pushed the lead to double-digits. Matonti hit another triple to keep the team ahead, while scores from Chris Dougherty, Aiden Morel and others maintained the lead. A layup by Gavin Wright in the last two minutes secured the win, as the Gryphons held on for a non-conference victory in the final week of the semester.
