LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence equestrian team earned five ribbons on Saturday, while one standout performer qualified for regionals as well. The Gryphons will head to Regionals on March 29th, returning to LaGrangeville for the show hosted by the IHSA.

Maeve Lamson earned a pair of ribbons in the intermediate flat and the limit fences, finishing third in the flat and fourth in the fences event. Her finish in the limit fences also earned her a spot in the IHSA Regionals competition next month. Lamson was joined by teammates Elena Wagstaff, Leena Mangaldas and Layne Barr as top-five finishers on the day. Mangaldas and Barr each took home third-place rides in the pre novice and introductory flats respectively while Wagstaff earned a fifth-place finish in the limit flat.

The Gryphons will return to the ring on March 29th for the IHSA Regionals event at Crosswinds Equestrian Center in LaGrangeville. Lamson will be joined by teammates Sophie Gaynes and Leena Mangadas, who both qualified for the event this past fall.
