Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's tennis team earned their sixth win of their season and their fourth victory across their past five contests on Thursday night. The team swept the doubles matchups to open up the evening before taking victories at five of the six singles spots.
Jules Voorhoeve and
Nikita Knecht joined forces at the first singles spot, earning a 6-0 win to get the Gryphons ahead early. Senior
Simon Kopecky and teammate
Aidan Roney played at second doubles, with another convincing win as they took down St. Joseph Long Island's pairing by a 6-2 scoreline.
Avery Romano and
Noah Morley rounded out the doubles effort for SLC, with a 6-4 win in the third flight to sweep the Golden Eagles in doubles play to start the match. In singles play, Kopecky and Voorhoeve continued their strong play, with Kopecky winning 6-0, 6-1 at first singles and Voorhoeve winning in straight 6-0 sets at second singles. Romano stepped up at third singles, with SLC's first year taking a 6-1, 6-3 victory to keep SLC on top. Senior
Dylan Bernard continued his strong debut campaign with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at fourth singles, a key part of the team's dominant effort.
Gavin Wright played the team's closest match of the night, with a 6-3 first-set win followed up by a 9-7 tiebreaker to secure a 7-6 second-set victory. Senior
Peter Fathi fell at sixth singles by scores of 1-6, 4-6 to wrap up the evening.

The Gryphons (6-5, Skyline 2-4) will wrap up their 2025 season with a Friday-afternoon matchup against Manhattanville College on April 25th. The two teams will battle at Sarah Lawrence College with a 1:00 p.m. start on Friday.
