The Knights added to their lead in the 36th minute as Kailin Hansen scored on a penalty opportunity, giving the visitors a two-goal advantage. The second half was scoreless for over thirty minutes, as neither team was able to find the back of the net before a 80th-minute strike by the Knights that provided insurance and expanded their lead to three goals.
