BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's tennis team opened their 2025 slate with a home matchup against opponents from the North, as Thomas College of Maine travelled to Bronxville for the season-opening matchup. The Gryphons fell to Thomas College 5-1 in the season-opener.
The Terriers jumped out to an early lead by sweeping all three doubles matches, winning by scores of 6–3, 6–2, and 6–2. In singles play, Thomas continued its strong performance with straight-set victories at the top three flights. Sarah Lawrence's lone point came from
Margaret Moon at No. 4 singles, where she earned a 6–2, 6–3 win. The match at No. 5 singles went unfinished with
Serafina Panuccio taking a first-set victory, while Thomas closed out the team victory with a win at No. 6 singles.
