WESTON, MASS. - The Sarah Lawrence Women's Volleyball team wrapped up their trip up North with a pair of losses on Saturday afternoon. The Gryphons fell 0-3 to Wentworth Institute of Technology before a 1-3 defeat at the hands of the hosting Regis College Pride.

- Athena Kazos led the offensive efforts with 29 kills and 11 digs on the day

How it Happened
Early in the day, Wentworth controlled the action in a straight-set sweep, with Kazos and
Nikolet Vataj pacing the offense and Costa adding 15 assists and 13 digs. Despite the two losses, SLC showed resilience, highlighted by strong individual performances throughout the day. Later, against Regis, the Gryphons battled back to take the third set before ultimately coming up short in four, led by Kazos with 20 kills and Costa with 33 assists. The team used a pair of early kills by Beck and an ace by
Eva Anderson to take a third-set victory before falling in the fourth.

The Gryphons (1-4) will return to action on Thursday, September 11th as they host Bard College for their first action at the Campbell Sports Center since August 30th's season-opening tri-match. The Gryphons and Raptors will face off at 7:00 p.m. in Bronxville before a home tri-match on Saturday the 13th.
