BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's basketball team used a barrage of three-pointers to take down Old Westbury on Saturday afternoon. The Gryphons connected on 15 long-range shots, shooting over 48% from deep en rote to a 23-point victory over the visiting Panthers.

How it Happened
The two teams stayed close throughout the first 11-plus minutes of play, tying at 12, 15 and 18 points apiece in the early minutes. After an Old Westbury three-pointer to knot the game up at 18 points apiece, the Gryphons connected on three straight triples to go up 27-18.
Braden Burman found classmate Kelly for the first before Matonti hit his third and fourth of the day, putting SLC up by nine. The Panthers stayed on the heels of the hosts, but a pair of Kelly triples in the final two minues helped put the Gryphons up by 15 at the half.

Mason Meyers got fouled from behind the arc, getting to the line for three shots. The senior knocked down a pair while putting the Gryphons up by 26, withstanding a last-minute triple by the Panthers and holding on for a 23-point victory.
