NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released its 2025-26 men's basketball all-conference and major awards on Tuesday, naming three Gryphons in the report. A standout senior earned the program's first-ever defensive player of the year award while a pair of guards took home all-conference nods.
Senior
Chris Dougherty, the program's all-time leader in games played, blocks and rebounds, earned the conference's Defensive Player of the Year Award after leading the Skyline in blocks and blocks per game while finishing top-three in rebounds and rebounds per game. Dougherty has totaled 104 games played, 157 blocks and 770 rebounds as a Gryphon and averaged career-highs of 8.2 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 45.1% from the field and 35.6% from long range, both career-best marks.Â
Junior
Andrew Kim earned his first Skyline all-conference nod this season, averaging a career-best 11.0 points per game along with 4.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds. Kim ranked 45th in the country and second in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio while sitting fourth in in the Skyline in assists per game. The junior, who became the program's all-time assist leader two weeks ago, stepped up as a scorer this season, averaging over three points per game more than in his sophomore campaign. Eamon Kelly, who earned his third all-conference appearance after leading the team with 12.4 points per game this season. The senior shot 40.0% from long range this season, the second-best mark among qualified Skyline players and the 42% best rate in the nation. Kelly eclipsed the 1,000-point mark earlier this season while becoming the program's all-time leading scorer earlier this month.
