MADISON, N.J. - The Sarah Lawrence men's volleyball team fell to the hosting Rangers of Drew University on Wednesday, falling 1-3 after each team took a set early on. The Gryphons were aced just once by the hosts while tallying seven blocks, including four Gryphons with multiple blocks each.

After dropping the opening set, Sarah Lawrence responded with improved blocking and service pressure, highlighted by multiple stuffs from Cahill and Miller and a service ace from Roney, helping the Gryphons pull away late to claim the second set and even the match at one set apiece. Drew regained momentum in the third set, but Sarah Lawrence continued to generate offense through Cahill,
Ethan Look, and Perhaes, with
Alex Xie distributing effectively and contributing kills of his own. In the fourth set, the Gryphons stayed within striking distance early, using service aces from Roney, Cahill, and Xie to keep pressure on Drew, while strong defensive efforts from
Kairos Diaz anchored the back row. Despite those efforts and several late points sparked by kills from Cahill and Roney, Drew closed out the final set to secure the match.
