LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - Sarah Lawrence equestrian team riders
Nyah Raposo and
Maeve Lamson each wrapped up strong 2025-26 campaigns with third-place finishes in Saturday's IHSA Regionals Event. The pair of Gryphons each posted strong overall campaigns, including second place rides earlier in the day on Saturday in the team's all-region show. This was Raposo's first IHSA Regionals showing, as the sophomore from Brooklyn had a tremendous second season with SLC. The sophomore earned eight top-three finishes, including a pair of blue ribbons and a trio of red ribbons. Raposo will return to the Gryphons next year as an upperclassman and eye a return to IHSA Regionals.
For Lamson, this marks a third consecutive IHSA Regionals appearance, with a third-place ride in the limit flat and a seventh-place limit fences performance leading up to this season's third-place ride. Lamson had another standout season for the Gryphons in the ring, and will return as a senior next season with hopes of capping a tremendous SLC riding career with a fourth Regionals apperance.
