PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's tennis team dominated both doubles and singles play on Thursday evening, sweeping the hosting Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's Long Island by a score of 7-0. The Gryphons won each singles matchup in straight sets while dominating doubles play with scores of 6-1, 6-0 and 6-2.
Clayton Miller and
Jules Voorhoeve started off doubles play with a 6-1 win, setting the tone for the remainder of the match.
Leon Bronshvag and
Jozef Kandrac followed suit with a dominant 6-0 victory before
Aidan Roney and
Connor Wood closed out doubles play with a 6-2 victory in the third flight. Miller remained flawless on the day with a 6-1, 6-0 singles victory before Voorhoeve did the same via another two-set victory. Bronshvag continued an impressive senior campaign with a 6-2, 6-3 win in the third flight while
Avery Romano-Villani dominated to the tune of a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Kandrac had the closest singles matchup of the day, battling for a 7-2 tiebreaker victory after a 6-0 first-set win.
Gavin Wright closed out the day with a 6-1, 6-0 win to keep the Gryphons perfect and give the team a Skyline victory.

The Gryphons (2-4, Skyline 1-2) will return to action in Bronxville on both April 3rd and 4th, hosting Lehman College at 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon before welcoming Hunter College to Sarah Lawrence College for a noon matchup on Saturday.
