BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball program was recognized for its success in the classroom by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), earning the organization's Team Academic Excellence Award while placing 11 student-athletes on the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs across all divisions that achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year. The NABC Honors Court highlights the accomplishments of junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes who excel academically while competing at the collegiate level.
The dual recognition for the Gryphons reflects the continued commitment to academic and athletic excellence within the Sarah Lawrence men's basketball program. Sarah Lawrence's 11 NABC Honors Court selections underscore the program's commitment to academic achievement and its culture of success beyond the basketball court.
The NABC Honors Court is open to academically accomplished men's basketball student-athletes who are juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Team Academic Excellence Award recipients must post a team GPA of at least 3.0 for the academic year.
