Welcome to the Sarah Lawrence Compliance page. Our job is to oversee student athletes and department staff members, faculty and alumni, ensuring that the athletic department and its student athletes are compliant with all of the Sarah Lawrence College, Skyline Conference and NCAA rules.

Sarah Lawrence College is committed to following the regulations and bylaws applicable to all members of NCAA Division III. These rules ensure that all D-III teams are operating in line with the Division III Philosophy Statement.

Key components of NCAA Division III include...

- Institutions shall not award financial aid to any student on the basis of athletics leadership, ability, participation or performance.
- Athletics participants are not treated differently from other members of the student body.
- Student-athletes are supported in their efforts to meaningfully participate in non-athletic pursuits to enhance their overall educational experience.
- Athletics recruitment complies with established institutional policies and procedures applicable to the admission process.

GETTING IN THE GAME

The NCAA Division III Getting in the Game website is designed to provide basic rules and administrative education for institutional staff and student-athletes. The site can be used to assist institutions and student-athletes as a rules refresher or as an introductory tool for new student-athletes.
