2015-16: Received SLC Leadership Award … Skyline Academic Honor Roll … received team Coaches Award … played in 22 games, starting the final two games of the season … played final season, leaving team to pursue 3+2 degree (Columbia) … at end of season, had played second-most games of any Gryphon … posted eight points and three rebounds against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn (Dec. 5) … played 24 minutes, totaling 12 points, seven rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist against Cooper Union (Jan. 27) … finished career among SLC top-10 in career steals (3rd), three-point percentage (4th), field goals (5th), three-pointers (5th), assists (5th), points (7th), rebounds (7th), free throws made & percentage (8th).

2014-15: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … played in 24 games, making 16 starts … scored 87 points … converted 14 three-pointers, second most on team … had 13 steals, third-most on team … recorded a block against Pratt (Nov. 21) and Sage (Feb. 3) … scored season-high 11 points against Purchase (Jan. 10) … scored 10 points with season-highs six rebounds and three steals against Mount Saint Vincent (Jan. 24) … had three assists at Old Westbury (Jan. 31).

2013-14: Played in all 24 games, starting in 23 … achieved a season highs of 16 points, eight rebounds and a block against Merchant Marine (11/16) ... finished the season with 141 points, 78 rebounds and 45 assists … completed 35.0% of attempts from beyond the arc.

Off the Court: Concentrating in operations research … studying applied math and finance … president of SLC Gryphon Capital Management club.

High School: Four-year varsity player and basketball team captain.

Personal: Parents are Laurel and Michael O'Connell … has three siblings: Maryann, Ryan and Corey … aspires to be a portfolio manager or professor … speaks limited German.
